To start off the suns very last photons will leave its surface and begin their flight to earth. This will take anywhere from eight to nine minutes. After they arrive you should immediately notice that it has gone dark no matter where you are its going to be dark. Then once its all dark you should be able to see bright northern lights in the sky due to the changes in the magnetic field around earth. Shortly after that all plants will quit going through photosynthesis therefore leading to lack of oxygen.  After that the world will begin to go into panic due to there being no light outside and no power.

Then temperatures everywhere will begin to drop several degrees Fahrenheit and the earths surface will begin to cool but the earth is still heated by its molten core. About twenty-four hours in chaos and panic will begin to spread throughout the entire world. State authorities have almost zero control over this situation. At the same time we are all trying to figure out what had happened to the sun and all of our water and power outages. Then the surface will fall another fifteen degrees Fahrenheit.

At this point most plants and micro organisms begin to die. The inhabitants of the ocean feel no change yet. Another seven days in earths average temperature is one degree Fahrenheit but where there is tectonic faults it is still warm thanks to geo thermal energy not letting the surface freeze over. Now most plants have died due to lack of light and heat loving (like your pets) begin to die. In the ocean Fito plankton begins to die as well. The inhabitants of shallow water suffer tremendously from the cold and the surface of the ocean it beginning to turn to ice. By now scientists and individuals have realized what happened and rush to organize and equipped shelters. Another month in and the earth is continuing to cool with the average surface temperature being negative twenty-two degrees Fahrenheit and almost the entire planet is coated with ice. All plants and most bacteria are now dead due to the cold. The only vegetation left on earth is coniferous trees but with the lack of sun light even they are not producing enough oxygen.

In fact most living things on earth are no longer alive except some bacteria. Another year into this event and the oceans are covered with a thick layer of ice with the average temperature being forty degrees Fahrenheit. Life still may be possible on earth for humans if you where to move to Iceland where there is lots of geo thermal activity. But even if the sun goes out it will most likely lose its gravitational pull that keeps the planets in our solar system in orbit. If that where to happen our planet would just fly off into space some of them maybe even colliding with one another. But even if these events where to happen they wouldn’t happen for another 2 billion years because that is said to be when it “burns out.”
