As we’re heading towards the last week in January here, the Golden Rams ice hockey team is facing their last final three games of the season. With a record of 9-2-2, they’ve held a high ranking all season long, giving them strong hopes at playoffs in the near future. Senior night is February 8, at 8:20pm. The game will be help at home, the Pittsburgh ice arena in Lower Burrell, with the rams facing Gateways junior varsity team. Defeating this team previously 6-1, the Golden Rams should have no problem crushing their opponents once again.

This year the seniors include of team captain Dalton Swartz, assistant captain Zac Kuniak, goaltender Wes Deemer and forward Grace Johnson. The last two games are also home facing Kiski Area and North Catholic. Both highly ranked teams should lead to close but exciting games. Despite having a smaller team as previous years, the team has managed to work together and compete at a high level, regarding much injury and conflicting issues during the season.
