This week I went on vacation to Virginia to go see Williamsburg and see what it was like back then it was a great experience and I recommend it. We went to Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Jamestown. What I learned in Colonial Williamsburg is coffee cost 2 cents, how they made bricks with clay and water and mashed them with their feet. The jail back then was very dirty and unsanitary it was hard times for them. Another thing I learned was the commands they use when in war to re-load the commands were “PRIME and LOAD” then they wait until the commander give the order to fire “MAKE READY, PRESENT, FIRE”. The last thing I learned was about gambling you have to buy a private room to gamble you cannot do it in a public place it was against the law.
