I’m Drew Wiley and I interviewed a student that is new to Highlands, Salvatore Anzola. I had multiple questions for Mr. Anzola and he answered them with a tremendous amount of humor and honesty. It was truly an honor to talk to “Sal” as his friends call him. Here are the questions I asked him.

Drew: Where were you born and where have you lived?

Sal: RAF Lakenheath Air Force Base, United Kingdom

Drew:  When is your birthday and how old are you?

Sal:  October 8th, 18 years old

Drew:  I know you just moved to Highlands what were the names of your previous schools?

Sal:  John Hardin High School in Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Drew:  Do you like Highlands so far?

Sal:  Yes, it’s been great. Faculty and students have been very welcoming towards me.

Drew:  How many family members do you have and what are their names?

Sal:  3 family members Father-Domingo, Mother-Patricia, Brother-Andres

Drew:  What colleges have you been looking at?

Sal:  University of Florida, Temple University, Florida State University, Ohio State University, University of Texas-Austin, Penn State, Pitt

Drew:  Did you play any sports at your school and if so what sports?

Sal:  I played soccer at my former school for 3 years

Drew:  What class is your favorite at Highlands?

Sal:  AP Economics and International Business.

Drew:  What do you think about the delicious school lunches?

Sal:  Hahaha is this a joke? Pretty standard at every school. Lunch is gross, therefore, I bring my own lunch everyday

Drew:  What is your least favorite thing about Highlands?

Sal:  Having to wake up at 6:45, which is an hour and fifteen minutes earlier from the past three years. However, I enjoy getting out earlier.
