Things aren’t looking too good for the Pittsburgh Penguins as they took a loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. They lost in overtime. This increases their losing streak to 4 meaning that they’ve only won 3 of their lat 11 games. If Carolina beats New Jersey on Sunday, the Penguins will be knocked out of the playoff picture and into ninth place in the Eastern Conference.  “I don’t have a great explanation,” Crosby said. “The first (game) kind of carried over to the next one and the next one.” A good thing is that currently they are second for the wild card in the East. They have encountered some “problems” such as Evgeni Malkin being on the injured reserve list, Justin Schultz being out due to a broken leg and Matt Murray being injured all the time.
