As most seniors are starting to realize, their time in high school is coming to an end. That means it is finally time to start thinking about what they will do after high school. Will they go to college like most kids will do, or go straight into the workforce. Personally I will be attending college after high school to further my education in mathematics. But some students have absolutely no idea what they want to do after senior year. They think they have an idea, but they are not entirely sure. So I pose the question, if I want to attend college, which is the best choice for me?

This is one of the most stressful times in a young adults life. We all are just barely eighteen years old and we have to make one of the most important decisions of our lives with barely any experience under our belts. Not to mention we slowly come to the realization we are about to be in debt up to our eyeballs, but that’s a whole different issue. We struggle with deciding which path is for us and which school is the best fit for our personalities. It’s a tough time and we are all just doing the best that we can.

In my personal experience, when I went on a tour of Slippery Rock University, I instantly knew that was where I belonged when I stepped on campus. Sometimes it just happens for you. I was a lucky one who just felt at home when I discovered my path. So I’m here to tell you seniors, don’t fret, you will find your place in the world. Just keep a head on your shoulders and know what you want. Don’t settle for anything less than what you know you deserve.
