After years of waiting, The Elder Scrolls 6 game was announced by Bethesda at the E3 2018 showcase.  Todd Howard, Bethesda’s executive producer and director, stated that the game is in pre-production. He also said that “He can’t wait for everyone to play and that the staff themselves are also excited to play”.  Pete Hines of Bethesda also commented that there are still two other major platform releases that the team has to work on. This means until they are done, The Elder Scrolls won’t be coming anytime soon. Game director Matt Firor said that it could come when the next generation of consoles come.

Another question is the location of the game. Where does it take place? Howard said that clues are in the trailer of the location. Many fans have suggested that the game takes place in either Highrock, Elsweyr or the sunken island of Youkunda.
